The Swiss Education Lab investigates educational processes and their impact on the various stakeholders in the context of the institutional and regulatory framework.

The Swiss Education Lab generates scientific evidence on the systemic interrelationships in the Swiss education system in order to better identify the advantages and significance of individual subsystems and their interrelationships.

In addition, measures are initiated to communicate this knowledge about education systems to relevant target groups.

Research

Comparisons of education systems around the world show that a holistic analytical framework needs to consider not only the system level but also the levels of educational pathways, programs and curricula. This should include not only the characteristics of the different levels of education, but also their permeability and the linkages between the actors in the education system and those in the employment system.
