Apprenticeship Pulse

Apprenticeship Pulse

The research project "Apprenticeship Pulse" identifies the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic on apprentices, training companies and young people in Switzerland. Over the course of one year, we will regularly survey the "pulse" of the apprenticeship situation in Switzerland. We are focusing on the following research questions:

  • To what extent are training companies in various economic sectors and cantons affected by the COVID 19 pandemic?
  • To what extent are apprentices in various occupations affected by the measures decreed by the federal government?
  • To what extent are young people affected by the COVID 19 pandemic before, during, and at the end of their apprenticeships?
  • What innovations are training companies using to ensure the best possible training for young people before, during, and at the end of their apprenticeships?

On the first Thursday of every month, we publish monthly reports based on new data at www.lehrstellenPuls.ch (in German). The first detailed report will be available in June.
