Within the framework of our evaluations, we investigate issues on behalf of Swiss or foreign partners using reference systems and criteria. Evaluations can help an organisation, a program, a draft law, or any other intervention or initiative by assessing performance relative to every important objective and identifying the extent to which action is needed.
NVQF - Evaluation
This project evaluates the National Vocational Qualification Framework (NVQF) in Nepal. We assess the project’s management and how it relates to further TVET federalization in Nepal.
Yearly Professional Education and Training Curriculum Evaluation
This project surveys students of Professional Education and Training (PET) college degree programs in business (Höhere Fachschulen für Wirtschaft), along with their supervisors. It assesses various abilities required by the core curriculum to address whether the core curriculum satisfies the requirements of the economy.
AKAD: Effectiveness of face-to-face teaching in the AKAD Vocational Baccalaureate Program
AKAD is a private educational provider at the upper secondary, tertiary and continuing education levels and is part of the Kalaidos Bildungsgruppe Schweiz. The method it has developed is a combination of accompanied self-study and classroom teaching. The present project aims to investigate whether the oft-cited accusation that the high proportion of self-study in AKAD educational programmes is not ppropriate is true.
Determinants of educational choices
This project uses a survey to investigate which factors influence educational decisions after vocational education and training in Switzerland.
