Here sample testimonials of attending master students of the course:
- "In Analogy to "school-to-work" transition, this lecture provides en excellent "lecture-to-mind" transition, because it doesn‘t feel like a classic lecture but more like a very interesting discussion about politics, methods and current situations of vocational education systems around over the world."
Alban Imeri
- "This course was enriched with empirical, firsthand findings on the challenges the world faces w.r.t. education and youth labour market. As a student fond of technology, the course instructors motivated me to dig deeper into the subject matter from a 'Digitalisation' point of view. I could ask many questions since the class size was small. Overall, the course was super awesome!"
Niharika Singh
- "This block course helped me have a better understanding of the youth labor market and also the importance of vocational education training. It is well structured and the small class format lets you have constructive discussions with the two teachers and classmates. Prof. Renold and Dr. Bolli have extensive knowledge on the topic with concrete examples from the papers they wrote and the work they did with foreign governments. I highly recommend this block course."
Leo de Meyer
- “Youth Labour Market Outcomes, Institutions and Governance of Vocational Education and Training Systems has been one of the best courses I`ve attended during my University-studies. Prof. Dr. Ursula Renold and Dr. Thomas Bolli exceeded my expectations and offered very interactive and suspenseful lectures, where all students` questions have been addressed and everybody had the opportunity to learn the maximum within a short period. This course is a “must-attend” for all students who are interested in economy, the linkages with the education system and above all, for those who want to understand better some of the key reasons for high youth unemployment in developing countries.”
