CES welcomes new team member
As of November 2023, Michelle Augustine Palayil joined the Chair of Education Systems as an research assistant.
Michelle is a graduate of PSIA, Sciences Po, Paris, where she studied International Economic Policy. She also holds a BSc in Business Administration and Economics from Tor Vergata, Rome. She is deeply interested in researching how economic methods can be used to improve education systems. Before joining ETH, Michelle gained valuable experience in both the formal and non-formal education sectors through an internship at UNESCO's Youth, Skills, Development Section and as a part-time research assistant for education projects at Harvard and Bocconi Universities in Italy. She further expanded her knowledge of finance and regulations while working as a Strategic Analyst at the Vatican City's Financial Intelligence Unit.
